In another incident, Richard Porter of Beatles in reported to Beatles Examiner Tuesday that McCartney was reportedly seen walking alone in the St. John's Wood area of London. According to Porter, he had been asked by a fan for directions to Abbey Road Studios. He said the fan then nearly had a heart attack when he realized the person he was asking was Paul McCartney.

“He's often out and about alone in St John's Wood. We've heard several stories like this in the past,” he explained to Beatles Examiner. “The best was when he was walking to Abbey Road Studios from Cavendish and stopped by the crossing to ask fans there if they wanted help with their pictures. The fans were too involved to realize who it was, and Paul went into the studios laughing his head off.

Porter, who runs a business called Beatles Coffee Shop in London, said it's not the first time he's heard stories like that. “We get these stories in the Beatles Coffee Shop all the time and my staff have seen him around the area, too.”

The new reports are great news for McCartney fans, who have been worried sick over his condition since he took ill in Japan and was forced to cancel all his concerts there and one in South Korea. A Japanese promoter reported he had left Japan after his hospital treatment. A Facebook group to post get well wishes has nearly 2,400 members that have posted wishes from all over the world.

The Out There! Tour's next scheduled stop is the United States. The first show is June 14 in Lubbock, Texas, and they continue until Aug. 14 in San Francisco. Tickets for American shows are available here and here.
