Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced their pregnancy, fans have been obsessed with finding out whether they will have a baby girl or a baby boy. According to a People report dated, Sunday March 17, the couple differs on their boy or girl preferences.
People went on to share, “While handing out symbolic shamrocks to members of the Irish Guards at the annual St. Patrick's Day ceremony in Aldershot, Kate revealed that while she'd like to have a boy, Prince William would prefer a girl.”
The Duchess of Cambridge said that she is looking forward to being a mom. However, she is unsure on what they will be naming their little one. She also insists that she is prepared for the sleepless nights that lie ahead of her.
While Kate and William were at the ceremony, she was asked a variety of questions by those in attendance, while posing for photographs.
Middleton has been known as a pop culture fashion icon, who likes to recycle clothes. At this particular event, she was still able to fit into a green Emilia Wickstead coat that she wore last year. She also added a gold shamrock pin for a St. Patrick’s Day touch.
Despite Middleton saying that she didn't yet know the name, recent reports had been claiming that the royal baby’s name just may be set. ‘Elizabeth Diana Carole’ was the rumored choice floating around. If the rumor turns out to be true, the name would make sense as Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, and Middleton’s mom would all be honored in the name. Interestingly, ‘Carole’ is even the latin variation of the name ‘Charles.’ Perhaps someone had too much time on their hands, but that would indeed cover all of the family bases. Nonetheless, the gender remains unknown, so it is a stretch to assume that the royal couple has officially announced ‘Elizabeth Diana Carole’ as the name.
Though Prince William is rooting for a girl, while Kate is preferring a boy, it is probably safe to say that they are ultimately just hoping for a healthy baby.
