Borderlands now available in OnLive's PlayPack

OnLive is an interesting animal.  Gamers can buy or rent games and play them through the cloud service on a per game basis.  It's a nice way to play, especially if the player's computer is a few years old.  Where OnLive really shines, though is in its PlayPack.  For $10 a month, an OnLive PlayPack subscriber gets access to over 50 games to play as much as they want.

Games like F.E.A.R 2, Just Cause 2, Bioshock, and TRINE are popular titles available in the PlayPack.  Today, however, another widely popular game is getting added to the list.  Borderlands, Gearbox's loot-based shooter, is a part of the PlayPack.  By mixing an RPG and FPS elements, Borderlands speaks to most gamers and will definitely make the PlayPack more appealing.

There's no doubt that current PlayPack subscribers will be pleased with the addition, but is it enough to get new subscribers?  Possibly.  Today also marks the addition of being able to demo almost all of the titles in the PlayPack.  Players might be able to justify the $10 a month if they find several titles in the PlayPack that strike their fancy.
