‘Borderlands 2’ themed skins coming to 'Minecraft' on Xbox 360 (Photos)

Gearbox Software revealed today that skin pack 4 for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” will feature characters from the developer’s popular “Borderlands” franchise. Three of the playable characters from the original “Borderlands” game, who returned in “Borderlands 2” as mission giving NPCs, along with the charismatic yet annoying Claptrap will be featured as player skins when the skin pack releases.

The upcoming “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” skin pack will feature Mordecai, Lilith, and Brick skins. Then, instead of Roland skin, the pack is rounded out with a Claptrap skin which actually removes “Minecraft” Steve’s head to make the iconic robot of “Borderlands” and “Borderlands 2.” A release date for skin pack 4 has yet to be given for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition,” nor has it been announced if the four skins shown at this point will encompass the entirety of the skin pack or if it will feature addition skins too.

Both “Borderlands 2” and “Minecraft” are now available on Microsoft’s Xbox 360. “Borderlands 2” is also out now for the Playstation 3 and PC/Mac.
