Gearbox Software announced today that their popular co-op shooter, “Borderlands 2” has been nominated in four different categories at the BAFTA Games Awards happening later today. The game is up for awards in action, artistic achievement, game design, and online multiplayer. Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, will be present at the event and will even be a presenter during the ceremony he revealed today. In the past, every time "Borderlands 2" has won new gaming awards, Gearbox Software gives out free SHiFT codes to fans which are good for golden keys to provide them with in-game loot.
As one of last year’s most popular title’s, “Borderlands 2” has already won several gaming awards so it’s no surprise that the game is up for more again. In “Borderlands 2,” players may choose one of several different Vault Hunters, each with their own unique abilities, and level them up as they hunt for eridium on the planet of Pandora while combating the exploits of Handsome Jack.
“Borderlands 2” is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC/Mac. Three of the games four season pass DLC add-ons are also now available for download.
