"Lady of Quality" is well-written and expertly researched by Heyer. No one knows the Regency period better than Heyer. The details about the locations, the dresses, and the jewelry are so detailed. Heyer makes you feel as if you walked back in time to the Regency period.
The novel does drag a bit and seems very expected. You may feel as if you know what is going to happen on every page. It is not Heyer's best work. Yet, it is still interesting and features complex and well-developed characters.
You're always guaranteed to walk back in time when reading a Heyer novel. You will feel as if you are part of the Regency period and Bath society when reading this novel!
