‘Black Ops 2’ devs honor the PS3 release of the Revolution DLC with fan event

Treyarch informed gamers today that in order to celebrate next week’s Playstation 3 release of Revolution, the first DLC add-on for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” they will be playing with their fans in a Game with Devs event tomorrow afternoon. Players were asked to watch the developer’s Twitter account for details on how to join in the celebration.

The Revolution DLC has been out on the Xbox 360 for a month now but, starting next week, Playstation 3 owners will get their chance to play the add-on when it becomes available over PSN for the first time on Feb. 28. Revolution adds new maps for use in the game’s multiplayer mode as well as one new zombie map. Furthermore, the add-on includes the first time a DLC has ever added a weapon in “Call of Duty” History. Also a first, fans are able to play as a zombie inside “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” in a new zombie survival mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo’s Wii U. The Revolution DLC is coming to the Playstation 3 for the first time next week.
