BioWare has discussed remastering 'Mass Effect' trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One

BioWare has internally discussed remastering the "Mass Effect" trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One, tweeted Sunday by the company's employee.

Aaryn Flynn, the general manager of BioWare’s Edmonton and Montreal studios, responded to a question asked 82 days ago about possibly porting and updating the sci-fic action RPG series for the PS4 and Xbox One.

We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share.

While not a definitive "yes," knowing BioWare have talked about it and haven't scratched the idea off should be encouraging news for fans of the game. And considering the recent re-releases such as "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" and "Rayman Legends," a remastered version of the original "Mass Effect" games wouldn't be a stranger on the PS4 or Xbox One, nor would it be too soon. At the very least, it would give "Mass Effect" fans something to occupy themselves with, until the next entry in the franchise comes out.
