Former President Bill Clinton – forever the spokesperson for the Democrats and extreme left – took a shot at Republican politicians during his latest interview on Sunday morning on ABC television’s “This Week” program, according to the Huffington Post on Sunday.
Clinton said that he has never seen a time like the current times in Washington, D.C. He asked if people can remember a time in their lifetime when a major political party was just sitting around and begging for America to fail – totally ignoring that many may feel America is failing on the path it is on.
Clinton was responding to what the United States House of Representatives led by Rep. John Boehner of Ohio did early Sunday morning. The House made not only made cuts to the federal government’s budget, but also proposed delays to the Affordable Care Act – also known as Obamacare – in exchange for avoidance of a government shutdown this week. The most recent bill is the 43rd time that the Republicans in the House of Representatives have asked that the Affordable Care Act be repealed or defended. The Democratic Senate and White House say that such proposals are futile because they will never go along with it.
Clinton waved the flag vigorously for Obama throughout the interview. A move which has been reported to be a deal between Clinton and President Obama – for Obama’s ultimate support of Hillary Clinton in a 2016 presidential race.
While Clinton wouldn’t comment regarding his wife’s rumored run for the White House in 2016, he did suggest that an Obamacare failure would not impact her chances of winning in 2016 if she should choose to run.
