“Big Brother” star Aaryn Gries is now out of the house, but she has not learned how much her comments have affected people. She made some rude and racist comments while filming the show, and she found herself confronted with those comments by the host of the show when she was evicted on Thursday's episode of the show. But because she is going into the jury house, she can't be told what has happened in the real world. According to a new US Weekly report published on Aug. 30, “Big Brother” star Gries didn't really take full responsibility for her actions in the house, especially when it came to her racist remarks.
“In Texas, we say things. Sometimes we joke and we don't mean it. I feel how bad it is being seen and how I've come across to people. I don't want to seem like that person,” she told Julie Chen in her exit interview before entering the jury house. Chen herself has revealed that she herself has been hurt and bothered by the comments she made in the home. "Being Southern, it is a stereotype and I have said some things that have been taken completely out of context and wrong. I do not mean to ever come off racist," she said defending herself. "That is not me and I apologize to anyone I have offended for that."
However, it is questionable whether she actually learned something from the events. Perhaps she will get a big reality check once she gets out of the house and gets back to reality. What do you think of her comments when she was confronted by Chen?
