According to Dalton Ross of EW.com, there has finally been official news released today on the upcoming season of Survivor. The show's 27th season - premiering on Sept 18 with a special 90-minute episode - will feature returning Survivor players and their loved ones. Survivor: Blood vs. Water will include 20 contestants - ten couples - all vying for the million dollar prize and title of "Sole Survivor." It has been revealed that one of the couples competing will be Survivor: One World's Kat Edorsson and her boyfriend, Big Brother season 12 champ Hayden Moss.
Hayden is the first person to ever appear on both Survivor and Big Brother. On Big Brother, he won after forming a Day One alliance called "The Brigade," that controlled the game from pretty much start to finish.
In Dalton Ross's article, he reveals that Hayden was very close to being cast on Survivor prior to the Summer of 2010, but he eventually ended up on Big Brother. Hayden will likely become a huge target early on Survivor, because he is both a physical threat plus people will likely know him from Big Brother.
