‘Big Brother's’ Amanda Zuckerman says she did hang out with Brandi Glanville

Likely the most controversial and outspoken cast member of “Big Brother 15,” Amanda Zuckerman, spoke to Your Reality Recaps on Dec. 17, 2013, about her recent meeting with one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Brandi Glanville.

Fans were perplexed about the incident, as Amanda seemed to post tweets that appeared to indicate she, Brandi and Jennifer Gimenez, Brandi’s friend, were out partying, but Brandi’s tweets seemed to tell a different story.

Amanda took to Twitter on Dec. 13 and wrote, “Out on the town with @BrandiGlanville @JenniferGimenez @PeterMarkSalon...”

She then thanked @PeterMarkSalon for “inviting” her out, noting that Brandi “is such a sweetheart, from 1st hand experience.”

Later, a tweet was sent to Brandi, Amanda, and Jennifer from @RealityObssesed that read, “why are you hanging out with a known racist? Amanda’s an awful, disgusting person.”

Brandi tweeted she had never watched “Big Brother” and was “simply polite to someone who stopped by” the table. Another follower sent Brandi a link to a YouTube video that included a montage of racist comments uttered by Amanda on the CBS reality show, prompting Brandi to respond with, “yikes.”

Amanda wanted to clear the air about what actually happened last Friday night prompting this Twitter interaction, and began by telling Your Reality Recaps she has been a fan of Brandi’s for years and has “kind of stalked her out a little bit.”

Amanda also noted the two have mutual friends, such as Peter Mark Salon, who called her to join Brandi and Jennifer for a night out.

She was reluctant to go when she first got the invite, but then decided she wanted to get one of the hair adornments she sells in her new online store on Brandi.

Amanda stated she headed out and met the group at a local restaurant called Salt Seven, saying Brandi was “super nice” and the two shared a drink at the bar.

Everyone sat down for dinner and Jennifer then joined the two women. Amanda said she and Brandi discussed the recent controversy Brandi has been dealing with after a Dec. 9 segment aired on “RHOB” in which fellow housewife Joyce said she can’t swim and Brandi remarked, “You’re black.”

Amanda thought she and Brandi could relate to being hated on by the public after making such remarks on “Big Brother,” which she noted were not meant to be racist.

She said the two women conversed about some of the unfortunate decisions they’ve made regarding words they've uttered on national television, calling them “poor decisions.”

Eventually the two headed to the restroom where Amanda placed one of the crowns she had brought with her on Brandi, as they readied to snap a photo together.

The moment was thwarted, according to Amanda, when Jennifer walked into the bathroom. Amanda said about ten minutes passed and she again asked Brandi if she could take a photo of her wearing the crown.

Amanda said Brandi had downed “a couple of drinks at this point,” and responded with “I can’t take a picture with you because you’re racist... I know you’re not racist, but now people are thinking I’m racist for the comment I made and I can’t take a picture with you…”

She said more than anything she got the feeling from Jennifer that she wasn’t wanted there. Amanda said everyone else, including Brandi, was very friendly.

She told Your Reality Recaps that Brandi has now blocked her on Twitter.

Amanda noted she is very frustrated, insisting she is not a racist or a bigot and those who truly know her understand that.

She then began to tear up, saying the entire situation is so “upsetting” because she’s a “fan” of Brandi’s and said “People hate me so much that they want to not see me have any sort of happiness or success…”

Amanda said there is nothing she can do now about what happened on “Big Brother” months ago, stating, “It just sucks… it really, really sucks.”

Overall, she said she understood Brandi’s reaction, but still found it to be somewhat harsh and hurtful.
