Two “Big Brother” season 16 house guests nominated for eviction took part in the week 7 Power of veto competition along with several other cast members on Aug. 9, 2014, according to Joker’s Updates. One contestant won the medallion and the upcoming POV ceremony will determine if it will be used to save one of the house guests who now faces being booted from the game.

Just days ago, spoilers revealed that two new cast mates achieved the title of Head of Household on Thursday night. The HOH winners were Nicole, who nominated Frankie and Caleb for eviction, and Christine, who put Donny and Zach on the block.

In the Battle of the Block competition, Joker’s spoilers revealed that Frankie and Caleb were victorious, even though Caleb had vowed to throw the challenge. Thus, Nicole was dethroned and Christine remains week 7 HOH.

Joker’s live feeders report that the POV was an OTEV challenge and Zach won. Since he is one of the house guests sitting on the eviction block, he will no doubt save himself from going home. This will force Christine to nominate another cast member to take his place.

It is unclear who she will choose to nominate, but many house guests appear to be ambivalent about Frankie after he decided to come clean about his profession and his sister on Friday night. During the “Big Brother: After Dark” broadcast, he could be seen informing everyone that he is a “social media mogul” and that his sister is “mega mega pop star” Ariana Grande. Most cast members were shocked, but supportive of his revelations, however, some were a bit upset that he had not told the truth from the beginning and felt he may somehow have an unfair advantage due to his status and connections.

Big Brother” season 16 airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with live eviction shows airing on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. In addition, “Big Brother: After Dark” is airing Monday and Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 12 a.m. ET, and Thursdays at 1 a.m. ET on TVGN.
