The week 8 “Big Brother” season 16 Power of Veto competition took place on Aug. 16, 2014. This left one house guest victorious and having to decide if the medallion will be used to save a nominated player.

On Friday, according to Big Brother Network, spoilers revealed the cast mates nominated for eviction. Head of Household Derrick put Donny and Christine on the eviction block, while HOH Frankie nominated Caleb and Cody.

Joker’s Updates live feeders reported that Christine had promised to throw the competition, but apparently Donny was able to pull a win, so the two remain safe for the week and Derrick was dethroned as HOH. This left Caleb and Cody to attempt to win the POV and Frankie as the reigning week 8 HOH.

Joker’s reveals that Frankie won the POV challenge, which appears to have involved the Zingbot. Since Caleb and Cody were Frankie's nominees, it is unclear whether he will use the POV to save one of them or leave the nominations as they are.

According to Joker's, after the competition Christine could be heard saying on live feeds that she and Cody were called out by the Zingbot for cuddling and she was concerned her family, church, and pastor may not be pleased. She also said that her husband Tim would understand, Joker's reports.
