The “Big Brother” season 16 week 6 Power of Veto took place on Aug. 2, 2014 and one house guest was victorious in the challenge. The upcoming POV ceremony will now determine whether the medallion will be used to save a cast mate up for eviction, or if nominations will remain as they are.

The POV competition took place only a day after the Battle of the Block challenge pitted two pairs of nominated house guests against one another in a fight for safety. Nicole and Donny both initially won the title of Head of Household, but Donny’s nominees, Caleb and Victoria, beat Nicole’s nominated house guests, Jocasta and Zach in the BOB. This left them vying to win the POV as a last chance at safety.

Joker’s Updates reveals via live feed spoilers that Christine won the POV and was seen telling the cast mates who did not participate in the competition that the challenge involved a trampoline and a zip line. According to Joker’s, Zach told some of the other house guests that during the POV he mixed up Victoria and Donny. He later said he attempted to give up three times during the challenge.

It remains unclear at this point whether Christine will use the POV to save either Jocasta or Zach. According to live feeds over the past few days and recent live episodes of “Big Brother: After Dark,” some of the house guests have been talking about getting rid of Zach. He is popular and entertaining, but some cast mates have expressed they find him to be a loose cannon who may not be good for their game.

In addition, “Big Brother: After Dark” is airing Monday and Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 12 a.m. ET, and Thursdays at 1 a.m. ET on TVGN.
