The “Big Brother” season 16 Power of Veto competition was held on July 26, 2014, and one house guest was victorious. That cast mate can now choose to either use the medallion on one of the players up for eviction, or can leave them on the block and their fate up to the house guest vote on Thursday, which will send someone packing.
Initially, Zach and Frankie won the Head of Household title, but Zach was dethroned after his two nominees, Christine and Nicole, won the Battle of the Block challenge against Victoria and Jocasta, the cast members Frankie nominated for eviction. The POV ceremony is slated to take place on Sunday and will determine if Hayden uses his win on either of them.
According to TVGN’s “Big Brother: After Dark,” it appears the plan amongst the main alliance consisting of Derrick, Frankie, Cody, and Zach that Hayden will use the POV on Victoria. Amber will then be backdoored by the group if Frankie replaces her with Victoria.
This may be quite upsetting to Caleb, who is under the impression, according to BBAD, that the plan is to save Jocasta from the block with the POV and simply scare Amber by using her as a replacement nominee. So Caleb thinks Victoria is the target. As it stands now, the true plan is to get Amber out, as some of the house guests see her as a real threat.
“Big Brother” season 16 airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with live eviction shows airing on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. In addition, “Big Brother: After Dark” is airing Monday and Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 12 a.m. ET, and Thursdays at 1 a.m. ET on TVGN.
