The “Big Brother” season 16 Power of Veto competition took place on Saturday, and the house guest who won the medallion was left to decide whether it would be used on one of the two contestants nominated for week 7 eviction. On Aug. 11, 2014, the POV ceremony was held and, according to Online Big Brother, it was full of drama and surprise.

Zach and Donny lost to Frankie during the Battle of the Block on Friday and remained the two nominees for eviction. Caleb, who was nominated alongside Frankie, refused to participate saying he blamed Frankie for Amber’s eviction. Despite that, Frankie was victorious, and saved himself and Caleb from the chopping block. Christine kept her title as Head of Household for the week. Because her nominees won, the three were rewarded by a day out of the house to attend a special NFL event.

Joker’s Updates spoilers revealed that Zach won the POV and was expected to use it to save himself from being sent to jury. During the POV ceremony on Monday, Zach did just that and, at the bidding of most of the house, Christine replaced him with Nicole. She did this even though the two women made a pact just days ago that if given the opportunity, neither would backdoor the other during a POV ceremony.

After the ceremony, Nicole could be heard talking to Donny, according to Online Big Brother, telling him that only the night before, Christine reassured her she would not put her on the block. Nicole also said she did not care what Christine meant by “knife in her back.”
