So far, the latest season of “Big Brother” has been full of game play and strategy, but admiration and love have also overtaken some of the cast mates, according to Big Brother Network. The website notes that in the early morning hours of June 30, 2014, Caleb called Amber into the Head of Household room to let her know he has deep feelings for her.
Since live feeds began airing from inside the “Big Brother” season 16 house last week, it was evident Caleb was falling hard for the attractive model. He would talk to various house guests about his feelings, thinking that Amber felt the same way about him. In fact, on one episode of TVGN’s “Big Brother After Dark,” he told Paola that he caught Amber sneaking peeks at him several times and could tell they were attracted to one another.
Big Brother Network reports that the uncomfortable conversation between Caleb and Amber began with him saying, “I like you,” followed by a disclaimer that a showmance would be something neither of them wanted. But, he continued with, “There’s a certain way you look at me throughout the day and I’m sure you feel the same way.”
Amber responded by basically saying she did not know what he was talking about and did not realize she looked at one person more than another. Caleb did not give up and said, “Everybody sees you...” according to Big Brother Network. Amber finally told him she just wants to be friends and Caleb responded that he understood, but would like to get to know her outside the house. She eventually left the room and revealed their conversation to some of the other women in the house.
According to TV Grapevine, by Tuesday afternoon, Caleb was upset and expressed over the live feeds he wanted a female in his alliance – presumably Amber – gone. Frankie and Cody were dishing on how Amber told Devin she liked him. The website also reports that Frankie was getting tired of listening to Caleb’s griping and began repeating that Caleb was not OK.
Eventually, according to TV Grapevine, the live feeds showed Caleb and Devin talking about the Amber situation with Devin saying he does not care what she says about him and not to worry. He told Caleb to be careful and to stop dwelling on Amber by focusing on the game. Caleb agreed, but only time will tell if he heeds Devin's advice.
