The website, primarily dedicated to all things “Big Brother,” spoke to the Minnesota pizza delivery man just a few days after the show’s finale, asking him a number of probing questions about his experiences on the show and his fellow house guests.
McCrae revealed he was actually an alternate for the show and never thought he’d make it into the "Big Brother 15" house.
He also told Hamsterwatch that at times he was leery of Amanda, thinking she may have been using him for her game.
“Throughout the show I always thought Amanda was playing me… but I think that Amanda was always playing for me once I got her into my web…,” McCrae said.
He also said having fans is “weird” and he is “still in shock” about it, noting it makes no sense to him.
McCrae was also asked why he was in bed much of the time on “Big Brother 15” and responded that just laying around was “fun” for him. He said that he and Amanda would converse in bed, which “made time pass by so fast.”
Hamsterwatch further questioned him about the scandalous birthday party incident in which fellow house guest Elissa Slater expressed her disgust when it was suggested Amanda might lick whipped cream off of McCrae while wearing a black one-piece swimsuit and singing "Happy Birthday" to him. Despite Amanda feeling attacked, McCrae “demanded” she apologize to Elissa. He noted that “Elissa should have been the one to apologize…” which caused frustration over the next couple of days in the "Big Brother 15" house.
McCrae also said that on that night, “Elissa was talking s*** about producers… and just being a jerk to Amanda.”
He also expressed regret for voting out cast mate Judd Daugherty the first time because when he won his way back into the “Big Brother 15” house, he was no longer willing to work with McCrae.
Hamsterwatch also asked him as to why he failed to intervene during the blow up between Amanda and fellow house mate GinaMarie Zimmerman. McCrae said he didn’t want to get involved and knew the fight would probably make him look better.
“Call me King P**** but it just didn’t make sense to me… I was here to play BB… I wouldn’t make myself look bad just to defend a girl I liked, especially when I knew Amanda was stirring s*** up,” he said.
He further admitted Amanda was “a shield” and he saw her as a great “asset.”
According to an interview Amanda gave Big Brother Gossip over the weekend, she will is visiting McCrae and his family this week, so only time will tell if their showmance, dubbed “McCranda,” will survive outside the “Big Brother 15” universe.
