Bethenny Frankel is taking some time off before she gets back to filming her talk show, which will be filming its first full season this upcoming summer. She has been tweeting more with her fans about various things, and now one of her followers is taking that she tackles a health topic which affects millions of women worldwide. And in a surprising tweet released on Jan. 20, Bethenny Frankel revealed that she herself suffers from this health disorder. Bethenny received a tweet about endometriosis that read, “176million women worldwide have #endometriosis. Bethenny please consider talking about this on ur show, we need #awareness & #help. #speakup.”
One can imagine that Bethenny Frankel is currently planning out what topics she will be talking about and she agreed that endometriosis is something she needs to talk about. “I have it too. Great show topic,” she wrote back. Endometriosis is a female health disorder which affects the female reproductive system. It “occurs when cells from the lining of the womb (uterus) grow in other areas of the body. This can lead to pain, irregular bleeding, and problems getting pregnant (infertility),” according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
Of course, Bethenny Frankel announced last year that she had suffered a miscarriage, and while she is older, she didn’t blame it on her health disorder. Are you surprised that Bethenny is so open about her health issues on Twitter? And do you think she should talk about endometriosis, as many women don’t know they have it?
