Actress Gabrielle Union was elegant in a white dress, a Tacori ring and silver heels at the BET Honors 2013 Debra Lee pre-dinner event. The event took place at the Library of Congress in the District of Columbia on Jan. 11. The BET Honors 2013 will be taped on Jan. 12 at the Warner Theater, and is scheduled to air on Feb. 11.
Union is slated to host the BET Honors for the sixth consecutive time. The event honors distinguished African Americans performing at high levels in areas, including entertainment, media, education, service and music.
This year’s honorees include Halle Berry, Lisa Leslie, Pastor T.D. Jakes and Chaka Khan. Brandy, Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu and Wayne Brady are among the entertainers scheduled to perform.
BET Honors 2013 will air on BET during Black History month.
