Whose butt is featured in David Beckham's H&M underwear ad? (Photos)

There is speculation that David Beckham used a butt double in the Spring/Summer campaign ad for his David Beckham Bodywear at H&M, according to a Feb. 7 USA Today report.

The ad, directed by Guy Ritchie features an action hero theme, according to a Feb. 6 USA Today report. “David is the perfect leading man,” says the director. “For me, this felt like more than a campaign — it was like directing a short film.”

The campaign, which debuted worldwide this week, shows the soccer star running through the streets of Beverly Hills in only his Bodywear briefs, chasing after his robe, which appears to be caught in the door of a car.

Rumors are swirling that the butt seen running up and down the street in the does not belong to the soccer star. This is making headlines because Beckham reportedly told the Associated Press that he enjoyed “getting to do all the stunts” and had ”good fun playing an action hero for the day.”

Sources close to the shoot have not confirmed whether or not a butt double was used. One may be able to make a determination by watching the video.

Creative director Marc Atlan came up with the campaign concept two years ago. “Working with Guy has been a fantastic experience,”says the soccer star in the announcement. “I hope everyone has as much fun watching the film as I had making it.”

Beckham’s H&M bodywear line offers a new range of colors including red, navy blue and green.
