New details have been revealed in regards to the transfer details for the recently-released multiplatform video game, “Battlefield 4.” According to a post from the official Electronic Arts support website on Oct. 31, the company reconfirmed that players will be able to bring their multiplayer progression from the current-generation version of the first-person shooter over to the next-generation platforms. The types of multiplayer data that will be transferable are assignments, awards, rank, stats and unlocks.
Furthermore, players who got the premium membership can also move all of the extra benefits and contents to the PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out some “Battlefield 4” screenshots in the slideshow near the top of this article and the list of transferable items below:
- Your Multiplayer Progression including Stats, Unlocks, Rank, Awards, and Assignments
- Your Premium Membership, including all Premium content and benefits
Electronic Arts previously confirmed that PS3 players can upgrade to the PS4 version of “Battlefield 4.” The same process can also be done with the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Customers can trade in the current-generation iterations of the video game at select retailers to get a big discount towards the purchase of the next-generation copies. Alternatively, PS4 users can use a code from the PS3 version to download the digital copy for the next-generation platform on the Playstation Store.
“Battlefield 4” came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, along with the PC, on Oct. 29. The first-person shooter will be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One next month.
