Johan Andersson has made several comments about the graphics disparity between the Xbox One version of “Battlefield 4” when compared to the PC and PS4 iterations. According to a report from Dual Shockers on Oct. 29, the technical director from Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment assured customers looking forward to playing the first-person shooter on Microsoft’s next-generation system that new visual improvements will be made.
One of the graphical effects that were absent in “Battlefield 4” on the Xbox One when compared to the PC and PS4 is ambient occlusion. Johan Andersson explained that the fixes didn’t make it into the review copy but will be added to the video game the first day.
