Target has revealed the software deals for the launch day of the upcoming PS4. According to a report by Playstation Lifestyle on Oct. 29, the retailer posted a flyer advertising a “buy two, get one free” sale for video games on the next-generation system.
Among the video games that were shown is “Battlefield 4,” a cross-generation first-person shooter that runs at 900p and supports up to 64 players online. You can find some screenshots of the newest title from the “Battlefield” franchise in the slideshow near the top of this article. The other titles featured in the print ad includes “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag,” “FIFA 14,” “Killzone: Shadow Fall,” “Knack,” “NBA 2K14” and “Madden NFL 25.”
Target mentioned that more video games will also be eligible for the promotion in stores. One of the limitations imposed is that customers can’t buy the same software product twice. Furthermore, the lowest priced item will be designated as the free game. The “buy two, get one free” deal is scheduled to last until Nov. 16. The supplies are also going to be limited, however.
Sony Computer Entertainment is planning to launch the PS4 next month on Nov. 15. The initial lineup for the next-generation system includes “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag,” “Battlefield 4,” “FIFA 14,” “Killzone: Shadow Fall,” “Knack,” “NBA 2K14” “Madden NFL 25” as well as other physical and digital video games.
