“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada may be working on her own career these days with her clothing line, her second book and the show, but it sounds like her ex-husband is also trying to move on from the incident. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 8, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada’s ex-husband is now part of a new movie called “Overtown.”
"This movie is homegrown," writer-director Cess Silvera told NBC Miami of his movie, which also stars Kelly Overton from “True Blood.” "It is about a few friends born and raised in Overtown” who get in over their heads in a bad way. And it sounds like they are thrilled to have Chad as part of the cast, adding, “He is a very handsome guy and very cool.”
And it sounds like Chad is just as excited about moving on with his life. "(I was) putting my feet in the water while I was playing for 10, 11 years — doing little appearances here in different movies, different sitcoms," he said. "And now it's time to focus on the next chapter in life." Of course, he has gotten a bad reputation after his marriage of 41 days to Evelyn Lozada ended after a head-butting incident. “Everyone deserves a second chance,” he said in an interview after the incident.
What do you think of Chad moving on?
