These free iPad, iPhone and iPod touch games bring you back to before time began
According to a Mar. 14 report in “All App News”,Rovio, the Finnish developer of “Angry Birds” has just released “The Croods”, a game based on the upcoming Dreamworks film of the same name. This game uses the same characters and focuses on their efforts to develop ideas to advance beyond the Stone Age. An archeologist would probably tell us that this is the family that preceded Fred Flintstone and his family.
In this game, you help the “The Croods” survive in wild landscapes, trap and tame never-before-seen creatures, create wacky inventions and decorate their Stone Age home with the latest caveman fashions.

“The Croods” is absolutely free to download and play but before you hand the game to any children be sure to go into Settings and disable In-App purchases!
Another game that is new to the App Store today is “Time & Territory: For Our Clan”. It's about a clash between clans during the Stone Age and the secrets behind it unravel as you play. Entangled with this action is romance and there are fascinating plot twists. Unlike “The Croods” however, there is real-time combat in this game. There is also three heroes with different skills, castle equipment for defense and lots of rich levels with achievements. Free.
“Time & Territory: For Our Clan” is a universal app that works with iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. “The Croods” is compatible only with iPhone 3GS+, iPod touch(4th generation+), iPad 2+ and iPad mini.
