Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard may not have found long-lasting love on the show, but she still watches the show that has been such a big part of her life. She found love with Brad Womack on an earlier season, but ended up coming back to the show to find love herself as “The Bachelorette.” But she does seem to have her favourites this season, including Nick Viall. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on June 25, “Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard is now defending Nick’s actions.

It sounds like Emily actually thinks that Nick had no idea what he was getting himself into when he signed on to the show. He may have seen a picture of Andi Dorfman, but he may not have known anything about the rules of the show and the struggle to date a woman that other men were also dating at the same time. Of course, Nick has already said some bad things, which has rattled the other guys, but Andi likes him for him.

“I feel like you can always tell which guys have watched the show and which haven’t, and maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think Nick knew what he was getting himself into,” Emily explains. “Anyone who has ever seen the show knows that you should never go back to the house and brag about your date because it’s just an open invitation for all the other guys to throw you under the bus!”

Andi seems completely head-over-heels for Nick, so maybe she enjoys the fact that he is confident in who he is. In a preview for the next episode, he reveals that he thinks that the other men should just leave, because he feels that he is already connecting with Andi. He thinks that the other guys are just wasting their time. But is Nick truly ready for a proposal, a wedding and a future with Andi? Or is he just enjoying the butterflies and air time?

What do you think of Nick? Do you think Emily is right on with Nick about him not watching the show before he started filming? Would you go on a show you hadn’t seen before?
