Sean Lowe has always been one to mention his faith and love for charity work.
During the Jan. 21 episode from season 17 of “The Bachelor” 2013, he put his words into action by teaming up with the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
On his first one-on-one date for the night, Sean selected bachelorette Ashlee. Together, the two went on a date to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Sean let Ashlee know the park was open only for their date. Then he surprised her with the news they would be accompanied with two mystery guests.
The mystery guests, teenagers Emily and Brianna from North Carolina and Nevada, turned out to be two girls brought by the charity Starlight Children’s Foundation located in Los Angeles, California.
Long time pen pals, both Brianna and Emily are diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease, a chronic group of illnesses. Unable to meet on their own, "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe and Starlight helped them get together to share two of their guilty pleasures – their love of amusement parks and “The Bachelor”.
Ashlee and Sean spent the day with Emily and Brianna taking in the fun offered by Six Flags Magic Mountain.
