With a sophisticated and complex palette, Bacardi's flagship luxury aged rum follows the company's storied blending techniques offering many layers of aroma and flavor.

Bacardi 8 Años Reserva Superior
aged rum from Puerto Rico
Bacardi 8 Años Reserva Superior begins with a golden amber color from maturing in American White Oak for at least eight years. Initial aromas of vanilla and apricot are followed by notes of wood and ginger. Complex flavors of tropical fruit, vanilla, raisins and apricot lead to spicy notes of nutmeg. The long lasting wood finish trails off with light notes of vanilla.
Bacardi 8 premium aged rum earned a Gold Award in the RumXP International Tasting Competition at the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival.
Here is Bacardi's consumate sipping rum. Neat or on the rocks, it delivers an elaborate and satisfying experience for the sophisticated rum enthusiast. As a premium ingredient in luxury cocktails, Bacardi 8 Años Reserva Superior aged rum delivers a maturity and finesse reminiscent of fine whiskey or bourbon.
Bacardi 8 was once produced in the Bahamas, now in Puerto Rico. The product had limited availability in the past, but now can be found widely throughout the United States.
In 2012, Bacardi will celebrate the 150th anniversary of their founding by Don Facundo Bacardi Massó in Santiago de Cuba in 1862. The company has received more than 300 awards for their rums worldwide.
