B Hotels & Resorts burst on the hospitality scene two years ago and continues to grow its portfolio with new hotels and a new lifestyle hotel brand (www.BHotelsandResorts.com).
The company, which opened its flagship property, B Ocean Fort Lauderdale in 2010, recently introduced b2 hotels, a new sister brand to its B brand. The company says the new b2 hotel concept “gives savvy jetsetters a chic alternative whether traveling for business or leisure.”
Early next year the b2 miami downtown will open featuring 243 guestrooms. The hotel will be located in Miami’s business district on Biscayne Boulevard, overlooking Biscayne Bay, the Miami skyline, PortMiami and the city’s cultural arts and entertainment district.
B South Beach is scheduled to open the first quarter of 2013 in what was the Continental South Beach. B South Beach guestrooms will feature dark wood furnishings accented by silver tones and ambient lighting. Vintage black-and-white photographs reminiscent of 1950s Miami Beach will adorn each guestroom, combining a touch of history and modern design elements.
In Central Florida, B in the Walt Disney World Resort is slated to open in Fall 2013. The hotel will be located within walking distance to Downtown Disney, with easy access to all Walt Disney World and Orlando’s theme parks. Select child-friendly guestrooms will feature bunk beds and gaming consoles, while still maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere for adult travelers.
Back in Fort Lauderdale, B Ocean Fort Lauderdale, which has become a popular destination for embarking and dis-embarking cruise ship passengers, will a new lobby bar the first quarter of 2013.
