Authorities investigating whether missing toddler was abducted

Authorities are looking into the possibility that a 2-year-old Florida girl was abducted and taking out of her bedroom window on Sunday night.

Denise Hernadez, who lives in Immokalee was put to bed around 9 p.m. and was reported missing around 11:30 p.m. When her father went into her room to turn off the television he found his daughter gone from her bed and the bedroom window wide open.

The FBI and the Florida Department of Law enforcement considered her disappearance as an abduction and began searching the area around her home.

Around 9 a.m. Monday, search and rescue dogs were able to track the little girl to a field off Esperanza Way. She was standing in an open field crying, and began slowly walking toward the searchers and tracking dogs as they came towards her, reports Macro Eagle news.

The little girl was taken to the hospital to be checked while investigators continued to investigate whether she was abducted or got out of the window on her own.
