According to the "Faith" section of "The Blaze" on Oct. 29, an atheist shoe company has being providing shoes for atheists for about a year. Now the atheist shoe company has designed a new line of shoes for babies.
The name of the small business is "Atheist." Its latest venture is to provide shoes for little feet.
The company is testing the shoes for babies on Kickstarter website to see if the concept has enough interest from non-believers before the shoes are fully integrated into the business. So far, the company has already raised more than half of its $9,636 goal.
There are pictures on the Kickstarter website. You can see what the shoes for babies look like. The shoes are described this way:
“Our baby shoe is just as snuggly and comfy as our grown-up shoe, handmade with a very soft, untreated leather and 100% cotton teddy bear fur. It also has a soft sole, not too restricting for quickly growing feet and allowing older babies to learn to walk as nature intended.”
The atheist shoe company has a message on the bottom of the shoes to reinforce non-belief in God. Rather than mentioning a deity, the messages on the bottom of the shoes simply read: “I believe in Mummy,” “I believe in Daddy” or “I believe in Booby.”
The shoes come in four sizes for babies ages 0 to 24 months.
