'Assassin's Creed 4' will be 60% land and 40% sea (Photos)

"Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" has officially been confirmed from Ubisoft, and it looks like gamers will nearly be spending as much time on the water as they will be journeying on land.

According to a report from InsideGamingDaily today, the level design ratio has been described by Ubisoft as being about 60% land and 40% sea.

Many gamers have been talking about this situation happening and are hoping Ubisoft can embellish upon sea battles.

When gamers travel from one place to another via boat, Ubisoft seems to be working hard on making that function easy to complete.

Ubisoft has said that from the moment gamers see an enemy ship in the distance to the point of a ship being boarded, there should not be one loading screen.

This game is looking to hit retailers this coming Oct. 29th and will indeed be hitting the PlayStation 4 as well as all current generation consoles, including PC.

It's unclear as to whether or not gamers will be able to play this title on the next-generation Xbox 720, but it is heavily implied as the game's trailer says the game will also be available on other next-generation consoles outside of PS4.

This is expected but still go news to hear from Ubisoft.
