The exclusive digital content will focus on Jackdaw, a pirate ship that features Edward Kenway as the captain. The aforementioned character is the main protagonist of “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” and the grandfather of Connor Kenway, the main playable individual from “Assassin’s Creed 3.” The fable promises to immerse players in “ancient illustrated lore.”

Customers that pre-order the product from Amazon will also receive the Hidden Mystery Pack. The DLC includes a new mission in which players can explore Mystery Island, which is home to a lot of golden loot. The Stede Bonnet costume and pirate ship in-game items are also featured in the downloadable content pack.

Nintendo Wii U, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 players will be able to get their hands on “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” when it launches in North America on Oct. 29. The open-world action-adventure video game is also coming to the PS4 on Nov. 15 and the Xbox One on Nov. 22. Customers that bought the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the sequel can also purchase an upgrade to the PS4 and Xbox One iterations for a small fee.
