Best Buy refreshed it Deal of the Day and revealed a steep discount for one of the hottest games from the 2013 holiday shopping season. Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U owners can pick up “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” for a little more than a pirate song for Friday, April 25 only.

“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” is discounted $26 to just $13.99 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U at Best Buy. For those wondering, the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still at the full $59.99 price.

That’s not the only gaming offer as part of the retailer’s daily deal. The white PS3 DualShock 3 controller is marked down $25 to $29.99 and the Rocketfish Xbox 360 Chat Headset is a little more than 50 percent off at $5.99.

Free shipping is available from Best Buy but only on orders of $25 or more. You can opt for free in-store pickup though. State sales tax is applicable.

“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” is the sixth title in the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise. The game is set in the Caribbean during the early 18th century and the Golden Age of Piracy. The game puts players in the role of pirate Edward Kenway, grandfather of “Assassin's Creed III” main character Connor/Ratonhnhaké:ton, who stumbles into the conflict waged by the Assassins and Templars.

As the setting suggests, gameplay focuses heavily on ship-based exploration and combat on an open-world map. Players will be tasked with upgrading their ship throughout and can also go diving for treasure or hunting for whales, sharks and other ocean-faring wildlife.

There are still plenty of land-based sections though that keeps the series’ traditional free-running style of gameplay and combat. Multiplayer returns as well but there is no naval multiplayer combat. The signature semi-historical nature of the series continues as well with figures such as Black Beard and Anne Bonny appearing.
