Arsenal’s summer spending spree continues to look as though it is in full swing as manager Arsene Wenger is lining up yet another possible striker to join the club. According to the Daily Mail the Gunners are set to make an offer to Greek club Olympiakos for the services of Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas.
Mirallas is one of a host of younger Belgian internationals that could possibly be part of the nation’s best collective national team in history. Mirallas is also the reigning Greek golden boot winner as well as the Grecian league’s returning Player of the Year.
The player is thought to be available for the cut rate price of only £6.4 million, however, the London club are said to be set to battle it out with Liverpool who are also said to be interested.
CSKA Moscow already have been shot down in their attempts to sign the player having had an offer of £5 million shot down earlier in the summer before Liverpool and Arsenal had expressed interest.
