According to an article posted on Sept. 29 at Billboard.com, the Grammy-winning Montreal natives participated in "SNL" comedy skits and performed their latest single 'Reflektor' along with a new song titled 'Afterlife,' played for the first time outside of their two secret shows staged earlier this month at Montreal's Club Salsathèque.
Their "SNL" appearance was followed by a half-hour long special, directed by Roman Coppola.
The special was recorded at Club Salsathèque and featured cameo appearances by Bono, Michael Cera, Ben Stiller, James Franco and Aziz Ansari while the band performed a handful of new songs from their soon-to-be-release new studio album 'Reflektor,' including 'Here Comes The Night Time', 'We Exist' and 'Normal Person.'
The 'Reflektor' album, which will be available in double -vinyl, 2-CD and MP3 formats, will hit shelves on Oct. 29 and is available for pre-order at ArcadeFire.com.
