Arcade Fire will reprise their secret appearance at Montreal's Salsathèque club.
According to an article posted Sept. 9 at Spin.com, the Canuck indie rockers are advertised by the Salsathèque website as performing Monday, Sept. 9 at the club, located in their hometown of Montreal, QC, under the guise of the band's pseudonym "The Reflektors."
The Grammy-winning Montreal natives, who previewed new material at the same club last week, and are also scheduled to debut their new single "Reflektor" Sept. 9 at 9 p.m., are reportedly hitting the club stage at 9 p.m. with ticket prices going for a mere $9.00, which aligns with the band's ongoing "9/9/9" marketing campaign for their upcoming new album.
The poster reads, "Formal attire or costume mandatory."
Director Anton Corbijn revealed last week that he's directed a video for Arcade Fire's new single“Reflektor," which will also premiere tonight.
The band posted a 41-second video clip earlier in the week titled "Reflektor 9/9/9" at their official website on ArcadeFire.com, but the single, which is rumoured to feature David Bowie as a guest artist, was leaked temporarily at Pitchfork.com on Sept 7.
Arcade Fire has also been confirmed as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live's season premiere on Sept. 28 with host Tina Fey.
Their new album will hit shelves on Oct. 29
