Arcade Fire nabbed six nominatons to lead the field at Canada's premiere music awards presentation - the Junos.
According to a news release posted Feb. 4 at JunoAwards.ca , the Montreal-based indie-rockers picked up nominations based on its critically acclaimed 2013 album "Reflektor" in categories including: group of the year, songwriter of the year, single of the year, alternative album of the year, album of the year and fan’s choice.
Hot in pursuit are superstar Vancouver, BC crooner Michael Buble and Toronto indie-rocker Serena Ryder with five nominations each, closely followed by Celine Dion, Drake, Hedley, and Tegan and Sara, who each earned four nominations.

The 2014 Juno Awards will be held in Winnipeg, MB from March 24-30 with the awards ceremony scheduled to air live on CTV Sunday, March 30 from MTS Centre.
The performing artists announced so far include: Robin Thicke, City and Colour, Ryder, Tegan and Sara and Walk off the Earth.
Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be inducted to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards ceremony.
Organized by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), the Juno Awards are presented annually to Canadian musical artists and bands to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music.
