Former United States Congressman and current New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner – probably best known for his sexting habit – was engulfed in a shouting match with a voter as Weiner campaigned for the impending mayoral primary, according to Yahoo! News.
The man – a fellow-Jewish-American – called the politician disgusting and said that he should stay out of the public eye due to his past-and-present sexting scandals which have graced headlines for over the past year-and-two-months.
While in the Borough Park portion of Brooklyn in New York City, where many Jewish citizens live, Weiner was confronted as he was exiting a local bakery. Unfortunate for Weiner – yet typical of his campaign’s luck – a Yeshiva World reporter was nearby with his video camera engaged. Naturally, the video of the voter bashing Weiner is going viral. The man, who called Weiner a deviant and pointed out that Weiner is married to an Arab – Huma Abedin who was a longtime Hillary Clinton aide - got the attention of Weiner who responded loudly by asking the man if he’s his judge. After asking, “You’re my judge?” Weiner asked, “What rabbi taught you that you’re my judge?” At one point, the man told Weiner, “You talk to God and work out your problems, but stay out of the public eye.”
This is the latest in negative reports involving Weiner who, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll, is the mayoral candidate with the least support in New York City – only 7 percent.
