Angler input sought for national saltwater recreational fishing policy.

If you have an interest in the future of recreational fishing, you should register and participate in this webinar with NOAA. It is an opportunity to provide your input on the development of a national saltwater recreational fishing policy.

In an earlier release NOAA recognized that roughly 11 million Americans participate in recreational fishing. Given that fact, they launched an initiative to improve the science and stewardship of recreational saltwater anglers. “We think a national policy on saltwater recreational fisheries, one that will help guide NOAA’s long-term planning, is another positive step forward.”

Too often anglers let fisheries management decision occur without their valuable input. No one knows the needs of the recreational angler, like those that participate in it. When an opportunity arises to let your voice be heard you need to take advantage of it. If not for you, then for your children and your grandchildren.

Use this friendly reminder to sign up now for a webinar on the National Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Policy. All folks are welcome to join in on Wednesday, July 9th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm (EDT).

Advanced registration is available at https://noaaevents2.webex.com/mw0307l/mywebex/default.do?nomenu=true&siteurl=noaaevents2&service=6&rnd=0.70430315734096&main_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnoaaevents2.webex.com%2Fec0606l%2Feventcenter%2Fevent%2FeventAction.do%3FtheAction=detail%26confViewID=166154816
