A few clues emerge in mystery project by Joe Walsh, Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger

Though there's still no definite word on exactly what Joe Walsh has been doing in the studio with Ringo Starr and Mick Jagger, Bill Withers and several others at Capitol Records recently, at least one of the participants hasn't been completely silent about the recording sessions.

On March 7, the day before Joe Walsh first revealed the sessions on Facebook and Twitter by posting a picture of himself with Ringo Starr, Bill Withers, Mick Jagger and several others, bassist Tal Wilkenfeld @talwilkenfeld, who also was in the picture, tweeted the day before “Thursdays in the office are usually pretty mellow. Like today… when I wrote a song with Bill Withers, Mick Jagger, Keb Mo & Joe Walsh. LOL," the website Anti-Music reported Monday.

But a look at her Twitter account finds she may have dropped several other clues even before that. On March 2, five days before the post above, she wrote on Twitter, “If I start thinkin about what's goin down in the studio tomorrow, I'll never sleep.”

A few days later, she posted, “Usual day at the office... ya know, recording with Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr & Joe Walsh.” Then, she wrote, “Gr8 fun recordin today with @JoeWalsh @kebmomusic @rrtfb @akadrjohn ,Jim Keltner & Mike Finnigan! Don Was producing. Dunno who is now! Lol.”

She has also made several other posts about working with Keltner (“Jim.... Keltner???” yup, the one & only :-)), Don Was (Don Was found my bass very useful... As a hat stand!!!! LOL pic.twitter.com/buKqlx9K7S) and and Dr. John (I spent the day with best doctor in the world. The one and only Dr John :-) pic.twitter.com/6FMMX9Kyot)

It was Joe Walsh's posts on Twitter and Facebook March 8 with pictures of himself, Ringo, Mick Jagger, Bill Withers, Wilkenfeld and Don Was that first caught everyone's attention. His comment was, “Cooking up something here at Capitol Records! I think you'll like it.”

But details beyond that have been slim. Ringo Starr has said nothing about it on his @ringostarrmusic Twitter account. A Ringo spokesman, when asked about the picture, would only say, “It is a Joe project, but no more info is available other than that.”
