“50 Shades of Grey” fans are at the edge of their seats wondering who will be cast as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the movie version. Well, Taylor Lautner may now be in the running, MStarz reported on Feb. 27.
According to the report, Lautner was spotted getting chatty with “50 Shades of Grey” author, E.L. James. The website claims that Taylor could be the next Christian Grey hopeful, but fans are more inclined to believe he’s be a better fit for the role of Jose.
“Twilight” fans know that Taylor Lautner can nail the part of the overprotective best friend, who also harbors a love for the leading lady, which, in “50 Shades of Grey,” is Anastasia Steele’s friend, Jose.
Another reason why Taylor wouldn’t be at the top of the list to play Christian Grey is his age. The 21-year-old may be a bit too young, or possibly not willing to film the racy scenes the movie will entail.
