48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards reveal this year's nominees

Nominees for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were revealed online today via the second annual ACM digital press conference on the ACM’s Facebook and Twitter pages, with a string of country and TV stars, and even some music fans, sharing in the announcing news.

When all was said and done, the top nod-getter in this year’s event was Eric Church, with seven nominations, followed by Hunter Hayes with six nods, and then both Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift, each of whom scored five nods.

Fan voting for New Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year will begin March 25, 2013, at 3 p.m. (ET) and noon (PT) at VoteACM.com. Fan voting for New Artist of the Year will close at 8 p.m. (ET) /5 p.m. (PT) on April 7, 2013, just before the live show starts that same day on CBS-TV. Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during the third hour of the live broadcast.
