Die hard eBay sellers; mark your calendar for June 5 – 8 for the 400 mile yard sale across Kentucky’s Scenic Byway Historic Highway 68. Bring a large vehicle or trailer because the bargains, treasures, and collectibles stretch a full 400 miles long. Highway 68 from Paducah to Lebanon is a State Scenic Byway so you’ll get to see some gorgeous country in between stopping at yard sales, historic sites, and interesting restaurants.
Lodging along the sale route includes motels, hotels, bed and breakfasts, and camping and RV parks. Since it is a scenic route, many state parks are located along the sale route. Lodging options are available for any budget. For a list of lodging by town or city, check the 400 Mile Sale website.

Other interesting sights and landmarks to see along the way include the city of Paducah, which offers the Museum of the American Quilter’s Society. In Russellsville, find antique shops and an 1817 saddle factory. Pleasant Hill is the location of a historic Shaker Village with 34 buildings open for tours as well as an annual antiques show and sale.
