According to USA Today, two of the four inmates who broke out of an "escape-proof" Oklahoma county jail this weekend by crawling through a small trapdoor over a shower remained at large Monday.
Prime Brown, 23, and Dylan Ray Three Irons, 21, were arrested by authorities at the Frisco Stop on Frisco Avenue in Chickasha Monday afternoon, local authorities confirmed.
The other two, Anthony James Mendonca, 24; and Triston Cheadle, 32 have still not been captured. Grady County Sheriff Public Information Officer Lisa Hatchett said local deputies are on the lookout for the inmates, but an official county wide search is not in affect.
The inmates pushed loose a trap door in the shower ceiling to gain access to the crawl space where the pipes are laid, Cain said. They crawled through to a room outside the jail, knocked out part of the wall to gain entry, then walked out through a door, the sheriff said.
Three of the inmates were awaiting transfer to state prison on drug and burglary convictions. One is a federal inmate, who was awaiting trial on a gun charge, The Oklahoman reports.
Caddo County Sheriff Gene Cain told multiple media outlets the prisoners escaped by breaking a lock on the hatch above a shower head, moving through a crawl space until they reached a wall where they knocked out cement blocks creating enough space for them to reach an area outside of the jail with an unlocked door.
