Old school muscle meets the new updated technological version, which one will win? It's a close race between the two, and something tells me that the 1968 Camaro SS isn't stock. They both launch great off the line, but in the end technology always wins. The carb takes too long and doesn't let the engine achieve as high RPM's as the fuel injection. Fuel technology is a huge determining factor in this race, and honestly the carb vehicle doesn't do bad for being produced over forty years ago. Back then cars were different, let's check out the specifications!

After comparing the specifications, the 1968 Camaro SS does pretty well. The 2010 Camaro SS is at a big disadvantage due to weight. Weighing in over 800 pounds heavier than the 1968 Camaro SS, this extreme weight gain is what kept the race almost even. With some weight reduction, the older and much fatter brother Camaro SS could see some better gains. I think that on the track these two vehicles would be comparable in times, maybe a few seconds apart. With a forty year difference, the 1968 Camaro SS is still king of Camaro.
