- The National Mall - 1,821 check-ins
- Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum - 1,744 check-ins

I find it interesting to see the P St. Whole Foods on that list amongst memorials, museums, and venues. And JR's Bar & Grille #2? Really?
I bet some places are offering deals to the mayors of a particular restaurant, which is why you're seeing the high check-in rates.

I found Whole Foods and JR's to be interesting inclusions, as well. There's certainly a demographic in D.C. rocking Foursquare.
