Shannon is the epitome of diversity; humbled by impoverished inner-city living and glass ceilings both in the working world and in college. Shannon takes pride in her chameleon like attributes and has been known to concur that she is, " always present." She is open-minded yet analytical, observant while rarely objective. Shannon is the one of a kind writer who gives us both sides of the story on prison life, poverty, healthcare, gender ideologies and potential answers, via in depth observation, to cultural and ethnic dispositions, factors and influences.
